This is a very busy week!

WINTER PROGRAM: THURSDAY 12/6, 6:30pm

Winter Program is one of Roycemore's biggest annual events. This all school get together takes place at 6:30 pm on December 6th and features choir and tumbling performances from all divisions.

Winter program is a great Roycemore tradition that families attend year after year - we hope to see everyone there!

Are you looking for an easy dinner the night of Winter Program? The RFA has a solution for you!
This year for $11 per person, you can have dinner right at school. Catering will be provided by Hand Cut Foods and the menu features pasta with your choice of marinara or alfredo sauce, salad, garlic bread and dessert.
**Those who register on or before December 1st will have access to reserved seating at Winter Program!

(Dinner registration is not necessary to attend the Winter Program).

In addition, we will have an exclusive sneak-peek sale at the Roycemore Book Fair!
The Hour of Code event will be held on Friday, December 7, from 3:15 to 4:30 in the Multipurpose Room. All Roycemore students and families are welcome to stop by any time during the event. Participants will enjoy simple coding activities and snacks, and students will share coding skills they have learned throughout the week. No previous coding experience is necessary! Visit our Hour of Code website for more details, and please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

During The Hour of Code Celebration, the Book Fair will be in the library and open from 3:15 - 5:00. Please feel free to use this sneak-peek time to shop early for holiday gifts, as well as books about coding!

This is a wonderful place to buy books and gifts for the holidays,  The best part of purchasing books at the book fair is it will help instill a love of reading in your child! PICTURES THIS WEEK: I will be putting a lot of pictures on the blog at different places, but there will always be more at the bottom of the blog.

  1. One of the best parts of being in a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 school are the times that the Lower School students get to spend with their Upper School Griffin Buddies. On Thursday, they collaborated on decorating and writing cards to children in hospitals.  What a wonderful experience for everyone and greatly appreciated by the children who receive them.

2. The 4th Grade celebrated reading with "Flashlight Friday" . The students brought in sleeping bags and other comfortable items and flashlights. They all had such a great time reading with their flashlights!

  3. The snow has arrived and with it lots of fun at recess!

4.  Even our youngest children participate in service. In our Extended Day Program, the youngest group created 156 letters to Veterans.  I know they too, will be appreciated.
