The Third and Fourth Grades are performing with the Middle and Upper School students. We hope many of you come to see the exciting tumbling that will take place.
Grades K-4 CULMINATION NIGHT June 3 5:00-6:00 p.m. This is the night where you will see all the learning that your children did this year. It is a really lovely evening.

RACE AGAINST HATE
Roycemore will be participating in the YWCA's Race Against Hate, Sunday, June 16, 2019. There are four different race options to choose from: a timed 5K and 10k, a 5K walk, and a Youth/Family 1 Mile. To join the Roycemore Team, click here: Race Against Hate Team Roycemore.

PICTURES THIS WEEK: I will be putting a lot of pictures on the blog at different places, but there will always be more at the bottom of the blog.
1. Third Grade has been immersed in science the last few weeks. Here they learned about selection and variety in science with an apple taste testing at the end. They are now learning about bridges. Our high school physics teacher came to introduce the concept to them. 
3. Can you guess who dressed for (F) Fancy Day in the kindergarten, the boys or the girls?
4. Recess is important at Roycemore. After lunch our early childhood children have an hour for recess and our older children have 45 minutes, plus lunch. We believe that kids need to move to learn.

Each week I will list all the activities that we offer, but do know that sometimes, some of them will not go. Please check them to see which ones are going that week.
The new session begins tomorrow, April 8. There are openings in every club if you have not registered, you still may!
Lego Club will meet Monday, May 20 in the First Grade Classroom from 3:15-4:00.
Coding Club will meet Monday, May 20 in the Second Grade Classroom from 3:15-4:00
Fitness Fun Friday will meet Friday, May 24 in the gym from 3:15-4:00. All pick-ups should be at the gym.
Martial Arts/Tae Kwon do will meet Tuesday, May 21 in the Multi Purpose Room from 3:15-4:00.
Yoga will meet Tuesday May 21 in the LS Music Room from 3:15-4:00.

A REMINDER: Please remember that Roycemore Lower School is a nut/peanut-free environment. Please remember this when you send in birthday treats and snacks for your children. There are many other allergies, specific to individual children, so please check with your classroom teacher before sending in treats. Thank you in advance for caring about all of our children.
